On Thursday 16th May, the school attended the Pedigree Day in Clonmel organised by the County Museum. All the children had the opportunity to engage with many different farm animals and the Agri-Aware Mobile Farm.
They also learned about penny-farthings, watched a farmer shear his sheep and a blacksmith make horse shoes. The children were able to learn about techniques from the past then put them into action as they tried out a spinning wheel and used straw to construct a variety of items.
Many thanks to the Museum for a great day out!
