On Monday 11th March, Garda Claire and Garda Mary visited our Senior room to give a talk on internet safety and the issue of cyber bullying. This is such an important and relevant topic, and one that the staff here at Killurney are always aware of.

Many thanks to the Gardai for taking the time to come out to the school to discuss this with our pupils.

On Thursday 7th March we celebrated World Book day at the school. All the pupils put in a huge effort - even Mrs O'Brien and Ms Meagher got in on the fun!

There were prizes for best costume, awarded to John-Joe Morrissey of the Junior room and to joint winners Lucy Shanahan and Ruby French-Davis of the Senior room. Prizes were also awarded for best project scooped up by Rebecca Dunne and Max O'Reilly.

The pupils had lots of fun dressing up as their favourite characters from Harry Potter, Enid Blyton, Dr Seuss and Alice In Wonderland to name but a few, and everyone went home at the end of the day with a book voucher to spend.
