Well done to all the Senior Room who took part in the Cross Country running in Thurles today, 26th September.

Big congratulations to Fred French-Davis who won gold in the 3rd and 4th class boy's race, and to Max O' Reilly who won bronze in the 5th and 6th class boy's race.  Well done also to the 3rd and 4th class girls who came fourth in the team event.

​A great day was had by all!

On Friday 20th September the Senior Room went on a history field trip to Templetney graveyard.

All the children had to take grave rubbings, make a list of the people buried within the graveyard along with the dates they died, and complete a questionnaire.

It was very interesting to explore local ruins and learn about local history.

There was much excitement in the school last week as Tipp FM came in to speak to the children. We were very proud of all the pupils, who were well able to chat away about home life and helping out about the house. Although some claims of tidying their rooms may have been slightly exaggerated...!

Hello and welcome back! After a fantastic summer off we are back in the classroom and looking forward to the exciting school year ahead.

This year, we have four new Junior Infants starting with us; Eddie, Ella-Rose, Lily and Sophie. And we are delighted to see they are all settling in so well.
