Over the Easter holidays we had our new vegetable beds installed. We have had vegetable beds for the past few years but they had become a little worse for wear!
The children love to grow and harvest their own vegetables and now having installed our new 'block work' veggie beds we will ensure that children will enjoy tending them for years to come.
We have also planted some wild flower seeds to promote biodiversity around the school.
A special thank you to all those involved - Eddie Walsh, Philip Cox, Pa Burke and of course, our ever dedicated care-takers, Mr and Mrs Grant. Killurney school is so lucky to have the dedication of the best care-takers in the country!
